The assembly has been done, there was even space for a Lundahl choke to form a CLC stage for the plate voltages.

The biasing is done with the chassis upside-down. For the first runs I'm going to use the Russian 6π3c (6P3S) tube. It runs quiet hot 400Volts @45milliamps.

The first test run can be started. I love these moments!

First sonic impression is: There is sufficient power to drive a pair of Dynaudio Contour II, mids are charming, not a disco rocker, the bass is tight but there is much pressure.
Will take the opporunity of today to drive high volumes ... it is burn-out day (Sylvester 2011)
