The frame is constructed by 15mm birch tree multiplex.
Required amount and dimensions of the cut are:
- Two times 429mm x 60mm
- Two times 310mm x 60mm
The edges are aligned with compound:
After one day drying and grinding:
I have choosen my spare pieces of rosewood to veneer the frame
The base plate is one solid piece of 16mm thick MDF, here already after the first priming:
