The input transformer module is suffering floating speaker terminals
They got replaced by robust ones and the chance is taken to insert a protection for the treble panel: A gas discharger tube, a CP Clare CG3-1.5L, as recommended in "The Quad ESL Refurbishing Picture Book" by Sheldon D. Stokes.
